Wedding Etiquette

It is the usual custom for the bride’s parents to send out the invitations but things have changed over the years and this may not be the case for you.  I have various wording samples that I can use or you can choose your own.  The invitations should be sent out at around twelve weeks before the big day.  After you have approved your wording and design and made payment then please allow six to eight weeks for completion of your order.  I will keep you informed along the way by email.

With regard to "Save the Date" cards - it is entirely up to you whether you wish
to send these out.  The reason behind them is so that any guests that need to make travel arrangements can do so well in advance.  It would probably be best to send out a Save the Date to all your guests rather than a select few to avoid any upset!

Wedding Favours are small gifts given to guests as a token of appreciation from the Bride and Groom on their Wedding Day – they are usually given out at the Wedding Reception, and often form part of the table decorations.  5 sugared almonds are the traditional gifts to put inside a favour box.  They symbolise Health, Wealth, Happiness, Fertility and Long Life.  Of course it is entirely
your choice as to what you put inside your favour boxes.
