Want to be a Driving Instructor?
Pay As You Train - No Advance Payments
Required!
You may have
considered becoming a driving instructor
- but have you progressed to the point
of finding out exactly what this
involves? The first thing we would say
is that qualifying is certainly not
"rocket science!" Mutlows have been
established nearly 20 years, and have
been training people from all walks of
life to become ADI?s (Approved driving
instructors) for the past 12 years,
with a considerable number of success
stories under our belt. You may already
have visited some other websites where
the "trainers" seem to be glorifying
their position and make the end result
of becoming an ADI seem to be something
unreachable unless you train with them.
Not so: take the advice you are given
from a qualified trainer and put the
hours in and you will achieve the
qualification you deserve.
Of course there is a
cost to ADI training, and most
individuals find that this works out to
be between £2000 and £3000. Don't forget
that on qualification you will have a
career for life, a career that is
exciting, varied, and often very
rewarding.
Upon qualification
you will be offered a position within
one of East Anglia?s largest driving
schools,
Mutlows
School of Motoring. We have various
packages available to you from part time
hours upwards, we are a friendly family
run business. We do not use contracts,
nor do we offer "train now pay later"
packages. We like to be straightforward
so you will know exactly where you are.
All your training will be carried out on
a one to one basis - you will not pay to
watch others, or be forced to have
someone watching you. All your training
will take place in one of our fleet of
modern vehicles.
If you are training
elsewhere and have come to a point where
you feel you are no longer making
progress, that you are out of your
depth, or you feel that you are not
getting value for money?. why not give
us a call? We can always take over where
others have left off and we can also
offer Part 3 rescue training where
necessary.
I n order to qualify as a Driving
Standards Agency (DSA) Approved Driving
Instructor (ADI)
there are certain
requirements that have to be met, as not
everyone is suitable for a career as a
driving instructor. In summary, these
requirements relate to:
- Non-motoring and motoring
convictions -
Status of your driving
licence, including any penalty points -
Your eyesight
The DSA examination consists of
three parts, as follows:
1. The theory and hazard
perception test
2. The driving ability test
3. The test of ability to give
instruction
You must pass all three parts
within a period of two years to qualify
as a DOT ADI.
If you are interested in becoming
a driving instructor,
contact us for our
free information pack, without
obligation. This contains comprehensive
details of the requirements of each of
the three parts of the DSA examination,
and is essential reading for
anyone considering pursuing a career as
a driving instructor.
